Get to know me tag!

Hellooo internet,

One of my irl and online best friends,Winter from Hopeful Snow, tagged me to do the get to know me tag! I'm super excited for this so let us begin!

You are meant to do this with two people but I'm alone in my bed and no one is answering my calls so yeah. I guess I'm breaking the rules.

1. New York or Japan?

New York. One, because of Gossip girl, but I promise that is not my only reason. Also, Henri Bendel and Barneys. And Breakfast at Tiffany's. And the Alicia Keys song!

2. Long hair or short hair?

Long hair. But I could so pull off short hair like Lola in Degrassi season 15.

3. Dog or cat?

I have a gorgeous cat called Olive but I love dogs too! Monkey from, you guessed Gossip Girl, is a firm favourite.

4. Pinterest or Instagram?

Insta!

5. Lipstick or eyeshadow?

Eyeshadow all the way! I actually got the Urban Decay Naked palette for Christmas and the Nars penelope is a beautiful pink creamy shimmer. Although, I love a pinky nude lip.

6. Pretty Little Liars or Dance moms?

I don't really watch Dance moms but PLL is probably my third favourite show after Gossip Girl and Scream Queens and just before Shadowhunters.

7. Ballet or pop?

Pop! I love myself some Ari! And some Gabi Demartino!

8. Unicorns or fairies?

UNICORNS !!! obv...

9. Wagamama or Nando's?

Nandos!!!!

10. No feet or no hands?

No hands, I guess.

the deal with makeup

Hi! I was reading a lot of bloggers thoughts about makeup. And when something is too much makeup.

A lot of the time when young teens start to get into makeup (and I'm obviously not saying all girls do) they get made fun of. They are told that they cake themselves or you're too young for makeup. Some people even get asked why they do it if they aren't getting payed.

For a lot of people, it's the same everyday. You wake up and put on makeup. You go to school and you wait for everyone to stare. To look at you and say,
"They're wearing a lot of makeup,"
 "They're caked,"
 "She's* fake."
"She doesn't want people to see her imperfections, her pimples, her acne."
"She's insecure."

But they don't know because you are confident. You wear makeup because of you. You put it on because you choose what you want to. No one dictates whether or not you wear makeup. You put it on because YOU want to. You don't put it on because of that guy over there. You don't put it on because of that girl other there. You smile as you apply your blush and highlight but are you really happy to be going to school where you will be judged and be called a clown? Where they say your highlight means you're oily? But none of that is going to happen because you don't care. Makeup is art, no one is allowed to tell you what you can  paint on your face. No one gets to tell you whether you are allowed to paint your face or not. It is your own art. You get to paint it. People are going to say it was not how you were made. You are allowed to wear clothing. And makeup is like clothing for the skin. You wear it because you want to. You wear it for one sole purpose, you feel GOOD with it on. If you don't feel good with makeup on, then don't wear it. You are perfect with or without it. Makeup is 100%free expression.

Thanks for reading!

I guess I'm maybe back

Hello and welcome to the njbc!

I guess I want to be more devoted to this blog. I'm going to try and write whenever i can. Recently i've been starting to listen to music more, currently I love anything either pop rock, hamilton or playlists on spotify called "Songs to cry to sleep to". Wow, I've made myself sound really depressing now. I promise you I'm not though! I also love anything shadowhunters (what do you guys think about it?), pretty little liars and Degrassi.

And what I love most is Gossip Girl. Speaking of Gossip Girl, I'm going to address my new blog name. It used to be Minty Perfections but I almost feel like I've grown out of that name. I've had this blog since I was 9 years old and I feel like the non judging breakfast club is more timeless. It comes from one of my favourite quotes.

The njbc is oen of the best tv best friendships ever (Chuck bass, Serena Van Der Woodsen, Blair waldorf and nate archibald). Just watch the videos below okay?

Bye!

okay so this next video is technically not a non judging breakfast club video but It's a sibling video with half of njbc (Chuck and Serena).

sorry for bombarding you with videos!
