Little women - Louisa may Allcot

I don't usually like classic books but this is one of the best books I have read because the real world (present time) disintegrates into their world and I feel that I am, let's say, a bird, following them wherever they go.
The description is very detailed and the characters are very real. What I think is weird is that everyone but Amy has a lengthened version of their name. Meg is Margaret, Jo is Josephine and Beth is Elizabeth but Amy is just Amy.
I thought the punishment Amy gave Jo was a bit harsh but I wont tell you what it was because that would spoil the story. The girls are very simple yet complicated, maybe except for Meg as she is more complicated.
Let me explain: Meg still wants to be young but she is easily influenced, Jo is a tomboy but also loves writing and reading, Beth is shy but also very clever although you might not realize it and Amy is very girly and loves being the centre of attention but if she tries hard she can be really kind especially to Meg.
Overall this is a great read!

Positivity to the max!

Recently I did a post which was just an announcement with a happy twist. So on contented perfectionist - Amelie's blog she did a positivity thingy-ma-jig which I thought was really cool so am writing this post to promote it.

Another thing I decided to modify and mould it into a tag.

Most of the rules are the same but I have added some extra ones.

The rules -
1. Send (or text, email, post… whatever you want) this picture to at least 10 people (if you’re posting it on your blog that counts as 10 as well!)
2. Email 4 people giving them 4 heartfelt compliments each.
3. Reply to the next negative comment you see. Say something like Who Cares? BE HAPPY! or Turn that negativity into positivity! or, as Kid President suggested, I LIKE CAPITAL LETTERS TOO!! But don’t forget to end the comment with #MakeItHappy!

 4. Email Amelie once you've done it!
5. If you have a blog, promote it on there, and tag another 3 bloggers that have helped you on your way to becoming who you are now!

The Ant Colony - review

A book review by Edie Rose.

The Ant Colony
Jenny Valentine

This is a story about Bohemia, Sam and the other residents of number 33 Georgiana Street, Camden Town. Sam is a runaway. No one knows who he is or where he came from, apart from nosy Miss Isobel and 10 year old Bohemia. Bohemia and her irresponsible mum, Cherry, moved to 33 when Mr Somebody (as Bohemia calls him) broke up with them after finding out there was a Bohemia.

My favourite part of the book, without giving any spoilers, is when Sam takes Bohemia to Hampstead Heath . I enjoy this part because it shows how observant Bohemia is. I also like this book because it is set in my local area. It was fun to recognise all the places the characters went to, and my own situations and memories in that particular place.

My favourite character is Bohemia because she is a similar age to me, loveable, and interesting. She takes part in many things, including shoplifting, to make her mum happy. She keeps the story going until a clever twist at the end.

Overall I give this book 10/10

Hi,

It's Edie Rose!

I'm sorry I have not posted!

By the way, I do not write at Justaddjellybeans.blogspot.com but it's on my google + acount because the author, (one of my best friends), mum doesn't want to share many details but has agreed to let her use my account, as long as she's anonymous. You should check out her blog!

Soo right!

Anyway I have been quite busy and am ready to get back in to blogging.

road of hate Chapter 2

Memory 1:
It’s dark yet warm. I am confused, puzzled. A bit of mush entwines with my hands. Another me! We both get squeezed out. But this other one has stuff on her head. It is soft like feathers. I have none. My face crinkles up. My eyes water. I am screaming. The other thing mirrors me. We are united.

“He says he can't see you yet” Cassie sighes her amazingly romantic sigh. Her lips are a utopian red, her eyes shadowed  a visionary pink coated with a thick layer of mascara to finish it off. “you look,” I start to say, “urr… quixotic?” Soon my cheeks are a deep shade of red, a similar shade to the lipstick she is wearing. A laugh so tender it could sooth the most saddest of babies wanderlusts out of my sisters mouth, “I’ll take that as a complement.” And, in that tiny moment, I see a pigment of the twin cass, the one I used to know.
