Hello! I know I have not been doing blogtember but, oh well, I'm starting today!

So... 5 People That You've Always Wanted To Befriend. This is easy.

1. Adi from Not Gary Cooper. I have wanted to be Adeline's 

friend for the longest time EVER and I guess I've just never had the courage to say!



2. CHUCK BASSSSSSSSSSSSS from Gossip Girl. I mean... what can I say!

I suggest you watch the above video for everyone's favourite line in GG.

3. Blair Waldorf. We're sticking with a theme here! How can you not love queen b? Thats like... IMPOSSIBLE. Blair Waldorf is EVERYONES princss...

4. Sasha Pieterse, our favourite liar. Ali D (and emison) for the win! Probably my favourite actress of all time, and the things she stars in are all gold! I would recommend Pretty Little Liars or GBF, but if you're looking for something disney, then Geek Charming is the way to go!

5. Georgina Sparks, in fact, every Gossip Girl character (apart from Bart Bass because he's creepy af and that guy that Sebastian Stan plays who messes everything up for my favourite characters through the whole of season one at least)! The best characters ever! I fell in love with all of them.

The song lyric challenge

Hello friends!

Long time no blog...

Today (after procrastinating and staring at my screen for hours on end) I created a challenge. The song lyric challenge! Let's get right into the tag (ish) sort of thing.

In this challenge, you need to try and construct a piece of writing while using as many lines from your chosen song!

I have chosen Colors by Halsey! This is a character profile on Alec Lightwood (lyrics in bold).

He sat in a clave council meeting, shyly blowing his shaggy black fringe up from where it was covering his eyes and not paying attention to whatever the current topic was. "Alec, are you even listening?" Clarissa, his almost-sister-in-law, was sounding annoyed and concerned, "your little brother never tells you but he loves you so, and I'm worried about where he went off to," Alec's mind went first to Max but Max was gone forever so... Jace? His head shot up, alarmed  and his sister Izzy and Clarissa Fairchild knew he was back to the normal Alec they all knew. "J-Jace is missing?" The older boy asked, stuttering. Almost simultaneously, the three picked up their phones, getting ready to text the absent middle Lightwood sibling. Izzy put down her blackberry, counting on the older two to get Jonathan Christopher Lightwood's attention. Alec watched Clary's fingers as she tapped the letters on her Iphone; 'Jace! Where R U? I hope you make it to the day you're 28 years old.' He then sent a text to the same recipient; 'By the angel, Jace pick up! Are you seriously only happy when you're sorry head is filled with dope?'

  Alec tossed and turned in his bed, the insides of his head dripping like a saturated sunlight and his sweat spilling like an overflowing sink. Alec had been injected with demon venom when searching for Jace and had been sent to his bed while everyone else looked for his adoptive brother. Suddenly he heard an angry Isabelle Lightwood scream,"JACE! We've been tearing through the pages and the ink just to find you!" Alec knew Jace was back, so he could finally sleep.

Reasons you should read TMI

Howdy people of the earth and internet!

Today I'm doing a post on my favourite book series ever. The Mortal Instruments series. This post in inspired by Adi's post here where she talks about TID, so today I'm going to talk about the books that came first (but are set after, if you know what I mean). Meet your new obsession...

This book is about Clary who's mother has been kidnapped and while trying to find her she discovers she is part of this half angel, half demon race called Nephilim (Shadowhunters / Demon Hunters). There is so so much more to it but I can't talk about it because... well, spoilers. So, why TMI?

1. If you have stop mid series, how can you NOT keep going. I mean, the books get better and more heartwarming and beautiful and amazing. How can you NOT want to know what happens next?

2. This series has every mythical creature you can think of. Werewolves, Vampires, Warlocks, Fairies, angels, demons and of course the shadowhunters.

3. It's not aimed at a certain gender. Yes, I know whether your a boy or a girl, you can read what you like but usually the cover art ect is aimed for each. This book is completely for any gender (as is any book but ya know...) which is awesome. I mean you will love Jace Herondale Wayland Morgenstern Lightwood whether you are male or female.

4.  The plot twists are reaaaal! Seriously this book is full of plot twists. The end of the first book a pretty obvious one but the rest are just aahhh!

5. Cassie Clare is an amazing writer! Her books are just wow! Cassandra Clare writes so many awesome books! 

6.  And last... MALEC. If for nothing else just read for Malec.

Book Blogging Olympics Tag

Ciao gente della terra e ad internet!

Today I have created my own tag inspired by the awesome Vivian from Day-Dreamer Night-Thinker.

What Team? Team GB!!!

If you could compete in an event with two fictional characters on your team, who would they be? Most likely Alec Lightwood cause he's a shadowhunter and awesome and Hermione Granger because she's clever and has a wand.

Which sport/event from a book would you add to the olympics? Shadowhunting for sure!

Olympian you most admire and a character that is similar to them? Probably Fu Yuanhui because she's so quirky and has so much support for her teammates. And for a character like her, Isabelle Lightwood from The Mortal Instruments!

What fictional sport do you want to learn? Shadowhunting (obv. TMI, TID, TDA) or Assassinating (Jk. Morbid I know, Throne of Glass)

Summer or Winter Olympics? If Summer, what's your favourite book set in summer and vice versa. I think I prefer summer, so The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson or Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare.

Ever been to see the Olympics in person? What book would be as satisfying or as boring as that? Yes actually! I saw the London 2012 men's football. COHF was a book I found satisfying!
