the deal with makeup

Hi! I was reading a lot of bloggers thoughts about makeup. And when something is too much makeup.

A lot of the time when young teens start to get into makeup (and I'm obviously not saying all girls do) they get made fun of. They are told that they cake themselves or you're too young for makeup. Some people even get asked why they do it if they aren't getting payed.

For a lot of people, it's the same everyday. You wake up and put on makeup. You go to school and you wait for everyone to stare. To look at you and say,
"They're wearing a lot of makeup,"
 "They're caked,"
 "She's* fake."
"She doesn't want people to see her imperfections, her pimples, her acne."
"She's insecure."

But they don't know because you are confident. You wear makeup because of you. You put it on because you choose what you want to. No one dictates whether or not you wear makeup. You put it on because YOU want to. You don't put it on because of that guy over there. You don't put it on because of that girl other there. You smile as you apply your blush and highlight but are you really happy to be going to school where you will be judged and be called a clown? Where they say your highlight means you're oily? But none of that is going to happen because you don't care. Makeup is art, no one is allowed to tell you what you can  paint on your face. No one gets to tell you whether you are allowed to paint your face or not. It is your own art. You get to paint it. People are going to say it was not how you were made. You are allowed to wear clothing. And makeup is like clothing for the skin. You wear it because you want to. You wear it for one sole purpose, you feel GOOD with it on. If you don't feel good with makeup on, then don't wear it. You are perfect with or without it. Makeup is 100%free expression.

Thanks for reading!
xoxo
